Sede21 is looking for a
CFO
Our client is an industrial a leading European multinational company in its sector, well-established and in a growth phase. In Spain, the plant and HQ offices are located in Valles Oriental, 50 minutes from Barcelona.
The CFO will be part of the Spain management committee and will report to the General Management and the Europe CFO, with the following responsabilities:
Main duties and responsibilities:
Ensure reliability and integrity of accounting production (both statutory and Group reporting), and provides support to meet Group targets (growth, profitability, sustainability), leading a team of 4 members.
Accounting :
- Leads and supervise monthly closing in local GAAPs : assets, liabilities, incomes, costs, taxes, accruals…
- Responsible of cash management, payroll, taxes declaration and payment (VAT, social security, Income Tax, local taxes…)
- Responsible of relationship with external financial & legal services providers (payroll, taxes, audit, banks, lawyers…)
- Responsible of producing complete set of annual Statutory Financial Statements Budget & Forecast :

- Leads, supervise, and takes active part into Budget and Forecast process Reporting :
- Performs monthly Group reporting
- Provides relevant analysis/explanations regarding deviations vs Last Year and Forecast Business :
- Provides accurate support to management team in order to implement company’s Strategy.
- acts as a “business partner
- Challenges management team in a continuous seek of improvement Internal Control :
- Responsible of internal control report and its improvement
- Ad-hoc analysis (profitability channels, customers, products…) to support management decision-making on projects and operations.
- Optimize business processes and reporting tools, in respect of Group norms
Profile’s Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance
- 5+ years experience in finance/accounting (experience required in an industrial company ;
experience in a FMCG company and/or an audit firm is a plus)
- Accounting (general and cost accounting) : advanced level required
- Excellent system skills, including MS Office, especially Excel (expert level required), as well as
high interest into ERP, BI system and data management
- Strong analytical and modeling skills
- Ability to partner effectively with Senior and Middle management, as well as with transversal
teams from various departments & countries
- Developed management skills (ability to organize & challenge team’s tasks, as well as create
conditions for knowledge improvement and favorable working conditions)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (Advanced English is mandatory)
- Good planning and organizational skills. Experience in handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
We offer: 60.000 €-62.000 € + car, team, project, stability.
